Last month, Sherree Elliot and I had the opportunity to flee the office and the courts for an inspiring presentation by Fiona Walsh at the eWomen Networking luncheon. In any business it is important to spend time away from your own four walls to connect with other professionals in the community. The philosophy of eWomen is to approach networking from a position of abundance, where giving to others leads to unlimited opportunities for all. We certainly enjoyed the lovely salmon lunch and getting to know many of the dozens of professional women attending to hear Fiona share her business coaching experiences. She underlined the importance of tapping into resources around you to connect and build your business, and not succumbing to fear or self-doubt in your ventures. I'll keep you posted on future networking events and hope to connect with you at one of them. |
